It all depends on how often you use them 🙂
Serums are concentrated skincare products that should be used in very small quantities (2 to 5 drops per application); there's no point in saturating your skin, which won't absorb more than it needs anyway!
With an application equivalent to a few drops of serum once a day, this skincare product will last about 2 months.
The texture of this care is fluid and light. It penetrates quickly and is very easily absorbed by the skin. It does not leave any greasy or sticky film but just a feeling of softness on the naked skin!
Be patient, the skin is a resilient organ that needs time to rebalance! To start seeing the effects of your skin care product, you need to apply it at least once a day for a full cell renewal cycle, i.e. 28 days. Even if it sometimes takes less time, you'll need a month to really notice a difference!
There's only one thing to remember: un-li-ca-tesse!
Emulsify the shampoo in your hands before applying it to your scalp, paying particular attention to the roots but not rubbing too hard.
If you have time, use a 2nd shampoo to make sure you've removed any residue responsible for dulling hair and re-greasing too quickly.
If you're making a mask, let wet lengths drain as much as possible before applying the product, to avoid diluting it too much.
To dry, don't wring out too hard, but press the towel gently and dab the lengths.
Never use a hair dryer, or if you can't do without one, set it on a cold thermostat.
So-called "dry" skinis parched, whatever the time of year. You feel tightness and discomfort, redness appears easily, you sometimes peel, and your face is not soft to the touch. This is your skin type, and it will stay like this for the rest of your life. The origin of the problem: poor sebum production, necessary for cell protection.
Your need: nutrition. Your epidermis needs a supply of fatty substances to compensate for poor sebum production, and to reconstitute its protective lipid film.
Dehydrated skin is only a temporary condition. Your skin reacts to external elements, such as cold, heat, pollution, friction... You have symptoms similar to those of people with dry skin: tightness, redness, discomfort... However, you don't have peeling skin or dry patches.
Your need: hydration. Your skin is thirsty, so you need to give it a water-based treatment. This doesn't mean dousing your skin with tap water from morning to night. Tap water contains limestone, a very drying agent. Instead, opt for a special moisturizing routine.
We often tend to use far too much product, which is not only unnecessary for your skin, but also wasteful and damaging to both the planet and your wallet.
Remember: just because a product lathers more doesn't mean it's more effective in terms of cleansing. What counts is its washing properties, and therefore the surfactant used!
- For a shower gel, the equivalent of a walnut in the palm of the hand, spread over the body.
- For a shampoo or conditioner, the equivalent of a €2 coin (or a little more if your hair is very long).
- For toothpaste, a pea-sized dose will do the trick.
