Q: How much to use for an optimal wash?

We often tend to use too much product This is unnecessary for your skin and wasteful for both the planet and your wallet. Remember: just because a product lathers more doesn't mean it's more effective in terms of cleaning. What counts is its washing properties and therefore the surfactant used! For a shower gel , the equivalent of a nut in the palm of the hand to spread over the body. For a shampoo or conditioner , the equivalent of a 2€ coin (or a little more if your hair is very long) For toothpaste , a pea-sized dose will be enough.

Q: Do your hygiene products contain sulfates?

We have banished from our formulas sulfated surfactants (= washing agents), of petrochemical origin and particularly irritating for the skin, especially for a daily use. The most common of these sulfates, found in 90% of conventional hygiene products, is Sodium Lauryl (or Laureth) Sulfate. Used daily, it dries the skin, making it more vulnerable to external aggressions; in shampoo version, it strips the hair and suffocates the scalp by stimulating the production of sebum: uhuh no it's fine, thanks ;) Our surfactants are all of natural origin, derived from sugar or coconut and authorized by the independent organic certification label Cosmos Ecocert. Very gentle for the skin, they wash effectively without disturbing the natural balance of the skin microbiota.

Q: Any tips on how to take care of my hair?

One word of order: de-li-ca-te-nesse ! Emulsify the shampoo in your hands before applying it to your scalp, focusing on the roots but not rubbing too hard. If you have time, shampoo your hair a second time to make sure you've removed any residue that can cause dullness and rapid re-greasing. If you're using a mask , let the wet lengths drain as much as possible before applying the product to prevent it from becoming too diluted. To dry , don't wring out too hard but press the towel gently and dab the lengths. Don't use a hair dryer all the time, or if you can't live without one, set it on a cold setting.

Sodium benzoate: Benzoic acid, present in some fruits. Helps to preserve the product.
Prunus persica (peach) fruit water: Organic. Moisturizes and softens the skin.

Aloe barbadensis leaf juice powder: Organic aloe leaf juice. Hydrates and soothes.

Whitening toothpaste

Hydrogenated starch hydrolisate: Hydrogenated starch hydrolysates, made from corn starch. Allows the paste to keep its texture and not dry out.

Hydrated Silica: Mineral abrasive agent, it cleans teeth and fights against dental plaque.
Glycerin: Of natural origin, it contributes to the dental bleaching by preventing food and stains from adhering to the teeth.
Perlite: Perlite is a volcanic mineral used to polish tooth enamel, making it whiter.
Citrus Lemon: Organic lemon extract. With whitening virtues, its acidity also helps to fight plaque. It is also a natural antibacterial.
Aroma: Natural mint of course, for good breath.
Sodium cocoamphoacetate: An alternative to sulfates, it is a derivative of coconut oil that allows for safe foaming. It is used and permitted in ORGANIC.
Xanthan Gum: Natural binder, it helps to give its consistency to the toothpaste.
Levulinic Acid: Allows to stabilize the formula.
Menthyl Lactate: Derived from menthol, it intensifies its aroma, for a tenfold freshness effect.
Menthol: To smell good from the mouuuuuth.
Sodium Chloride: Salt used as a sanitizing agent.
Sodium Hydroxide: Used to regulate the final pH of the formula.

Can I use it for my child?

All our formulas are thought to be the healthiest possible: certified ORGANIC, they contain at least 99% ingredients of natural origin. 🌿 They are therefore ideal for taking care of all skin and hair types, from 3 years old! Regarding face care, you can use the Magic Mousse cleansing foam from pre-adolescence, (around 9-10 years old), when the first little skin concerns appear. The rest of the anti-imperfection range is recommended after the beginning of puberty, from 12-13 years old! If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to ask your pediatrician for advice using the complete INCI list on each product sheet.

What to do with the empty tube/bottle?

We are constantly working to improve our packaging, to reduce the amount of used plastic and cardboard and to reduce our environmental footprint. Our tubes, bottles and cases are made of recycled plastic from old milk bottles or recycled cardboard FSC labeled (from sustainably managed forests) and 100% recyclable. But they will only be recycled if they are sorted and for that, YOU have the power!
